    Been going since they opened in 1988.  Outstanding take-out.  Try the hot & sour soup, beef with long peppers and cold sesame noodle.  Their wonton soup cures the common cold!

    This place is great I highly recommend the Szechwan dumplings and the gernal Tso it says spicy but it was filled with more flavor than heat!

    I'll say i was thrown off by the Sunday no delivery but it was worth not being lazy and coming in to pick this good stuff up.

    I enjoyed this and i couldn't stop saying it !

    I was a bit torn on the rating but I feel Kam Luang is a solid 3 star. I'm not a big fan of American Chinese food so I may be skewed, but I have been to Kam Luang quite a few times when I worked nearby as my one co-worker loved their lunch buffet. When he wanted to come here I was hesitant at first but over the years gave in when he wanted it because it's 1) pretty good 2) a great value 3) quick. Over the years, despite lunch time being busy we never had to wait, the trays were always full and fresh and the service was always polite. I noticed they do have a separate side for their take out business, which always appears to be steady. Honestly, I would not go out of my way to order take out from Kam Luang but would certainly come by for the lunch buffet.

    Best take out in the area, staff is friendly. There was a price hike recently but the lunch special is still a good value.

    Kam Luang is by no means my favorite Chinese takeout restaurant in the Somerset area. I've gotten their mapo tofu (meh) and sautéed baby bok choy (not bad at all) the last few times. Due to my sheer laziness, I'd stop by Kam Luang Kitchen over better Chinese restaurants just because it's closer to me. It's a five minute drive away from home and if I am craving food when I don't want to cook, I'll just stop by here instead. The food isn't bad at all. It's just nothing to really rave about. That being said, the service has always been great! That's another reason to come back.
